Currently high-end mobile computers like Dell’s XPS M1730 still only use fairly lackluster integrated soundcards. It would be nice if you could get mobile computers that really had some power for handling the processing of audio.

While I understand the notion behind product lifecycle what I do not understand is when an operating system security change results in a significant piece of software becoming unstable and unuseable why the immediate response is You purchased this software over 60 days ago, therefore we will no longer offer support other than a per hour charge that exceeds the price of the software. Yes I am paraphrasing.
Planned obsolecense aside…
the answer to every issue isn’t simply buy a new computer and upgrade to insert name of most recently released buggy operating system here
Middle ground needs to be sought.
because OGG is a much superior format, with most of my OGG files being less than half the size and the same quality of an MP3 file for the same song.
